Pandemic Adventures: Part 2

Last month I was scheduled to fly to PR and the rules said I needed to show proof of a negative PCR test upon arrival.  During my annual physical, I asked my doc to schedule a PCR test and had it done the same day.  While at the doc's office, I mentioned that I'd like a scan of my abdomen since I had a mild pain that probably was a strain from golf.

Pandemic Adventures: Part 1

Adventures of an Ace blog has not delivered many adventure posts in 2020.  No adventures means no blog posts.  The wife and I have been working from home and taking care of our one year old boy.  I have played a good amount of golf this year and it has helped me deal with this pandemic.  I do have two recent stories to share.  The first story is my friend's and the second story is mine.

Miami Open Closed

Tonight, we should be sitting inside the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

I had missed several chances to watch him play in-person.  "There will be plenty of time," I told myself.  After all, the man was in his prime.  Years have passed since.

Last Poker Session of 2019

I was on a three session winning streak back in August (read post here).  I played one more poker session and didn't play much golf last two months of the year (I'll talk about why in the next post).
